What is ARISE Accelerator all about?
ARISE is TEU’s annual flagship program that trains, empowers and mentors youths with business skills needed for them to start-up and/or effectively manage their existing businesses to become sustainable and scalable. Annually, this cohort based training program kick-starts with a one week’s hands on self-discovery boot camp, after which successful participants are enrolled into a six-month business start-up and management coaching-and-mentorship program where they are supported to create concrete business systems for sustainable and scalable businesses.
Why ARISE ACCELERATOR?
Despite being ranked the world’s most entrepreneurial country, most business startups (50%) in Uganda fail after operation for only 1, 2 or 3 years. This has been attributed to; Poor Financial Management, poor Business Planning, Marketing Problems, Poor Management Skills, Running out of funds and other reasons. We believe that SME’s are the drivers of the Ugandan Economy they constitute over 90% of businesses in Uganda, we cannot ignore supporting them.
Who can Enroll?
- Business Starters: those who want to startup their own businesses.
- Founders /CEOs/Executive Directors/ Individuals with existing businesses.
- Institutions/Organizations.
- University students and graduates.

This will cover (meals, training materials, a certificate and six months’ mentorship program).
